Christy (my wife) and I just debuted our new mobile studio upgrade feature for wedding clients at the Star Telegram Bridal Show at the Gaylord Texan last Sunday (8/15/10). We sectioned off half of the ShutterSpire Photography booth to make way for a studio light and nice calico backdrop. I ran the studio side and Christy handled ShutterSpire. About Studio to Go

Studio to Go is a premium add-on service for our wedding clients. Basically, a studio is erected in a designated area at the reception (bride’s choice) and we lay out a prop table, background if needed, and studio lights. A photographer will man the studio for the purchased amount off time (2 or 4 hours) and will be available for all guests at the reception. They can dress up in props and goof off in front of the camera and all photos will be placed on a proofing site and a complimentary 4″x5″ photo is given to all guests who had their photo taken. Guests can then order additional prints if they wish. This concept is much better than a photo booth and the image quality is worth the price. It’s a fun activity for guests and allows anyone to get their photo taken with nice surroundings and in a studio-esque environment.
